New West Symphony in partnership with California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks and The Soraya at California State University Northridge will embark on this first-class experience by presenting for the first time on the West Coast the complete film Titanic accompanied by an orchestra performing its score live. Winner of 11 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Original Score, the movie is a tribute to late James Horner's legacy by his friends in the orchestra who recorded the score alongside the genius composer. Horner also won Best Song for composing "My Heart Will Go On," sung by Celine Dion, which became a hit on its own. The blockbuster film, which runs three hours and 20 minutes plus intermission, will be shown on a very large LED screen specifically built for this one of a kind experience.
